Student Midweek

Heights Students meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.  Your student will have the opportunity to have fun, make friends, and activate their faith.  We start out with a light dinner/snacks and play some games.

Student Small Groups

Next, we’ll have an engaging lesson for everyone and then breakout out into small groups where our great adult Dream Teamers will help them talk about what they're learning.  All adult volunteers undergo a background check.

Amplify Nights

The first Wednesday of every month we have a special student service called Amplify, where students will encounter Christ through worship and a message. It's a night of bigger worship, bigger games, and a bigger message!

Current Message Series

Dear Student Ministry Parent's

I hope this message finds you well. I'm excited to introduce our upcoming teaching series for the youth group, titled HABITS: Spiritual Practices to Deepen Your Faith. This series is designed to guide our students through six critical spiritual disciplines, helping them grow in their faith journey.

Series Overview: HABITS is a six-week journey based on 1 Corinthians 9:24-27, encouraging students to run with purpose in every step:
  • Session 1: Hanging out with God Big Idea: A habit of prayer helps you run the race of being a Jesus follower. Question for Discussion: What are some ways you can make prayer a regular part of your daily life?
  • Session 2: Accountability Big Idea: Accountable friendships bring healing. Question for Discussion: Why is accountability important in our spiritual lives, and how can we foster it?
  • Session 3: Bible Study Big Idea: Building the habit of Bible study teaches you more about God and His ways, helping you run the race of being a Jesus follower. Question for Discussion: How does regular Bible study impact your understanding of God and His plan for your life?
  • Session 4: Involvement in Church Big Idea: Church involvement means working together to put others first. Question for Discussion: What are some ways you can be more involved in our church community?
  • Session 5: Tithing Big Idea: Giving reveals the heart of the giver. Question for Discussion: How does the practice of tithing help us grow in our faith and trust in God?
  • Session 6: Sacraments Big Idea: Baptism and Communion are ways to honor and celebrate what Jesus has done in our lives. Question for Discussion: What do these sacraments mean to you personally, and how do they deepen your faith?

I encourage you to engage with your student about these topics each week using the discussion questions provided. Together, we can help them build strong spiritual habits that will last a lifetime.

Blessings,

Pastor Mark Janes
